Happy Easter.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm Tripping the Light Fantastic at the Beach and eating my body weight in chocolate.I know.Sensible.
And I don't want to scare the Hell out of anyone but I'm not wearing any nail polish on my finger nails!! We're through the Looking Glass here People.
What are you eating? Are you at the beach?

There's something so peaceful and soothing about the staring at the ocean and all that fresh crisp air.

I've supported the economy and bought some jeans by 1 Teaspoon (I think. They didn't have J Brand so I was Flying Blind Jeans Wise). What have you bought for winter? Anything? And more importantly, What will we all be wearing? I mean, What are the Fashions?
This One's been crawling around in the sand and splashing in the water like a little porpoise. He gets more gorgeous by the day.

  2. Dear Ms FF, How I envy you! Even if we were to have followed the crowds of Santiguians to the beach, the Humbolt Current causes the water to be icy which we Aussies find rather hard to bear. Your 'sensible' comment made me laugh. We are going to do the same thing tomorrow. Baby FF has very cute little legs - lovely hearing he loves the water. love Lindaxxx

  4. Very cute re baby FF splashing in the water etc. Mine at that age just kept eating the sand. Guess it built their immune systems.....!

Winter fashion - I will be wearing lots of skinny J Brand jeans, my new purchase from my recent trip to Europe of Gucci knee high riding boots (apparently a classic from 1973, and they'd better last me around the next 40 years as well for the price...) and lots of Cable Melbourne knits. I love their cardigans - the best quality, never pill and very flattering and warm. Enjoy the beach x

  5. Happy Easter to you too. It is a bit of a thing we all like to do: have one last beach holiday before winter hits us. The weather is divine at the moment. Lou x

  9. Lovely pictures! We had a ski trip this spring break instead of a beach trip... less planning, but just not that same. At least we are having some sun breaks out here lately. xx

  11. I live in the U.S. and we just said good by to winter and I'm looking for summer fashions. It was such a warm winter here that I really didn't need heavy winter clothing that much. I am heading to the beach in 5 days. Can't wait! I love the beach too. Love J brand jeans. I haven't tried 1 Teaspoon. Will have to look for them here.

  12. These are the most beautiful and vibrant pictures!
You must be feeling much better if you are tripping the light fantastic on the beach.
The sun is shining here in Vancouver for our weekend away I've been really naughty at Hermes:-))

  13. Even though I live at the beach never fail to enjoy its soothing goodness. Surviving on chocolate and Simnel Cake which is a bit of a tradition here. Hoping one day I will return to my J Brand skinnies but so far this winter all I've bought is a creamy grey jumper that I'm planning on wearing with white jeans, i know a bit Liz Hurley but I do love a white jean. I think you'd describe it as having a cowl neck. Doesn't sound the nicest.
PS Baby FF has ridiculously cute feet. Enjoy rest of easter break.

  14. Looks so lovely at the beach. What a great place to spend Easter. I'm afraid I've eaten more than my weights worth of chocolate here too. ;( Also embracing the naked nail right now and I think it can be pretty if your hands look groomed.

I don't know about there, but here the colored jeans are all the rage. Seems like everyone just got the memo. I think you were already wearing them last year. Love the bright blue jeans right now with black.

    Enjoy your Easter!

  15. Happy Easter K! I have been eating a fair share of chocolate this weekend, if not now, when, right? Lovely and relaxing all the way here, and so nice to have the other half home. The little guy looks very cute! xx

  18. I've been wondering if you action a Retail Easter but I think it's now clear to me that you go for more of a nautical summery type Easter. It's nice to see you are supporting the retail sector, I had planned to get some J Brand jeans myself for winter but alas hesitated too long with them in my basket at the outnet and of course my size is sold out. So it's looking like a frugal winter so far though unintentional. I may have to actually go and try some things on like the Good Old Days. Baby permitting.
I am unclear about winter fashions but I am feeling the urge to wear burgundy, and long tunic type things over skinny trousers, which could be jeans. JaneS xx

    1. JaneS, try www.shopbop.com for JBrand - they are around $180 including shipping at full price. They have a huge range of the styles and full sizings, so you should be able to pick some up fairly easily.

  20. I escaped to the beach for a few days in the lead up to Easter and it was fantastic - the sun, the sand and the salt air. For Easter we had a wedding to go to - it was lovely and a lot of fun. Happy Easter to you and I hope the bunny found Baby FF! Ange

  21. Happy belated Easter to you and your family. I can't believe you aren't wearing nail polish...what must your nail beds be thinking of this?

I am buying colored jeans and pants like nobody's business! Someone stop me...I have green, fuchsia (of course), red, aqua (like yours) and just ordered some peachy orange. I can hardly make myself wear regular blue jeand anymore.

  23. I was at the beach, eating my body weight in baked products. In annoying timing I'm off chocolate at the moment. Still I made up for it with french toast, bread and butter pudding etc etc.
I am desperately seeking winter fashion. With wind chill we are in single digits in Canberra today. How did winter arrive so fast?
