Hermes Scarves.

Hermes scarves. What's not to luff?
Every one of them is tied up with the memory of who I was with and where I was when I bought them.

And they can be used to keep the sun off a sleeping baby in a pram. Deadset handy really.
I luff that giant elephant.

  1. Dear FF,
I am not an owner of a Hermes yet but I do have a swag of oroton and quite a few that were grandmas's. they are so special and I love wearing them as often as possible.
What's not to luff about accessories with such style and colour.
Our leader Jackie would be impressed no end with the pram cover.

  2. I love a Hermes scarf too - you've amassed quite a collection. I've still got my fingers crossed there's an orange box hidden somewhere for my birthday..... haven't found it yet though. xx

  4. I agree, they are so full of memories....I have one with a map of Paris which clearly shows a house we once rented on the Ile de la Cite. Ah, Paris! And another that I bought to celebrate my first ever job! Love that elephant. Rx

  5. hi FF,

Hermes is beautiful on you. I LOVE the elephant one! Rather randomly, I have a christmas cocktail party coming up and want to know how to action those caviar canapes you feature. What is in them? any other suggestions for great party food is very much appreciated! :)

  7. Hermes scarves are a thing of beauty, wish I owned one. Next best thing is reading MaiTai's blog, found courtesy of your blog roll, so thank you.

  9. FF the bow knot is very pretty! I sometimes do a bow but often end up doing a basic knot.

I have never seen the design with the elephant - gorgeous!

Enjoy your scarves, they really suit you Elle x

  10. Dear FF

All so beautiful. I have one with an Hermes elephant which is rather like the central picture on yours but blown up to cover most of the scarf. In bright pinks too. Bought it quite some years ago, at one of the boutiques on the Gold Coast. Have quite a few other Hermes also, collected over the years as well as scarves by other designers including some by Gianni Versace, also Chanel, Valentino, Gucci, Ferragamo, YSL, Dior, Sonia Rykiel, Agnes B, DVF etc and vintage by Jean Patou, Jacques Fath etc that i've picked up very cheaply in Op Shops and markets. One day they'll go to my beautiful grand-daughters who take after their Nonna, loving shopping and pretty things. The older one, almost eight, wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up! Best wishes, Pamela

  11. Love the black & yellow!
Same, I also have people & events associated to mine. Except for the last 4 which I picked up on holidays in Europe - they signify the ridiculous price we pay for them in Australia! I'm determined not to buy another until I'm back in the UK next May... (and then Hermes release a limited edition Melbourne scarf! Teasers!!)
