Pineapples

Surely I am not the only one who's noticed that what can only be described as Pineapple Motifs are popping up everywhere? Teatowels, cushions, earrings, dresses, Christmas decorations.... They've become ubiquitous.
Not that I'm complaining.
I endorse pineapples. Especially in a retro up side down cake.
Delicious.

  2. One of my favourite tshirts that my little girl wore last summer had a sequined pineapple on it! Now that was fabulous!

  3. Ff, my friend has a Brissy based online shop rife with pineapple motifs, amongst other excellent things Everingham and Watson.

  4. Pineapples are a symbol of welcome and hospitality(no seriously). I like the way the Easton Pearson shop in Brisbane has always used pineapples as part of store decoration.

  5. A pineapple is a symbol of welcoming. Not sure how I know that, but I'm pretty sure it's true.

  7. Dear FF,
Pineapples are a staple aren't they.
What's not to love about a pineapple revival, circa 1970's.
