Look at this lovely Mr Lincoln bloom the FF Garden's produced.
Meanwhile, like everyone else, the Baby says Yes to Bunnykins.
Wore red to honour Mrs Vreeland when I went to see DV:the Eye has to Travel
It was 11/10. Mrs V was a true original. Her apartment by Billy Baldwin was divine. She called it her Garden in Hell and it was full of cushions and gorgeous crocheted granny square rugs. It was fascinating hearing her sons and grandchildren talk about her. I luffed seeing everything she wore. You could wear any of her accessories today.
Run Don't Walk People.
Can't wait to revisit my DV books again
Afterwards I met my friends Lucy and Kate at Cru for lunch and a good old catchup
Kate was wearing amazing beads
Had an attractive salad arrangement with grilled haloumi and that giant cous cous stuff.
Have a lovely week. We'll be announcing our Fancy Pants Blog giveaway tomorrow.

ReplyDeletehe is so sweet!
DeleteLoving all the beads - hasn't costume vs. fine made a huge comeback of late! It's more versatile, me thinks.
ReplyDeleteMaster FF looks to be thoroughly enjoying his egg - the eggcup is ACE!
The anticipation of the giveaway is killing me...
Our Kate looked great at the Rugby last night...hoping we may hear the tiny pitter patter of feet soon, she looks much fuller in the face and the coat wasn't belted as tightly as is usual for her - fingers crossed!
PPx
I hope they have a baby soon x
DeleteI wish Alice would eat hard boiled eggs out of her Bunnykins cup.... xox
ReplyDeletesend her to Mr FF- he taught the baby!
DeleteWho can say No to Bunnykins? I plan on seeing that movie, it looks good - she was such a unique individual and entertaining with it.
ReplyDeleteshe was 11/10
DeleteI love Bunnykins! I still have all of mine from when I was a baby, in fact I believe I have that very same egg cup. Is there any food better than a dippy egg with soldiers?
ReplyDeleteI oath eggs but Mr FF always makes them for Our Bubby
DeleteDid you get the lowdown on where Kate found those great beads? And Bunnykins are wonderful - I have a great plate with the Serving of the Christmas Pudding that was my husband's when he was small. Now it gets used every Christmas for the Panetone or cookies, since my friend who made the Pudding doesn't trust them to the mail.
ReplyDeleteBeryl The beads are from Anthropologie. They are the bomb and ship world wide x
Deleteyou looked divine x
DeleteBunnykins and beads are the bomb.
ReplyDeletedamn straight!
DeleteIm scrolling and typing as fast as I can ...cant wait for giveaway
ReplyDeleteit will be very special!
DeleteWe went to a dinner party recently. They'd never heard of Diana Vreeland. And they didn't really understand Vogue either. Or fashion. Or the world's interest in Paris, for that matter.
ReplyDeleteIt was a very difficult dinner party for me. Wanted to stab myself in the eye with a fork. But they were nice, so I tried hard to make conversation. Even when they were disparaging about Paris.
Off to see DV tonight. So thrilled she's finally getting the credit she deserved.
xx
How awful for you. Hate those dinners. Hope no one carries on like that in Londy 2013.
DeleteLuff DV but she wasn't a great mother according to her sons.
I love that bunnikins eggcup. I had a craving for a hard boiled egg on the weekend and realised I do not own a single eggcup. Madness.
ReplyDeleteLove your rose and your friend's beads are divine.
Love my rose too. Beas are anthropology x
DeleteThat is a quintessential childhood snap, bunnykins, bonds singlet, boiled egg. Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI know! too cute
DeleteDear FF,
ReplyDeleteA rose is a rosé is a rosé. Seriously you do good roses.
Baby FF and his cup brought back memories, all the mini men's Bunnykins are in the china cabinet. They are the best.
The big birthday is by exciting. You should be very proud of yourself as we your readers are thrilled to a part of the blog everyday.

Love that top/dress arrangement in the last pic.
ReplyDeleteTDM xx
Love the Bunnykins egg cup (and the baby in a bonds singlet!!). We had the small plate and the porridge bowl when I was little - funny now to think of someone producing a bowl specifically for porridge, but I used to fight my brother over who got to use it!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the blog's third birthday. I have 11/10 enjoyed reading it since one of my friends forwarded me the link! PS your red and white stripey top is superb.
Ah such happy memories of my bunnykins egg cup! When my Mum used to look after Ms A one day a week - Ms A used to remind me in the morning not to make her breakfast as Nanna would have your eggiest ready on arrival :)
