The last of my lilies are starting to fade. Wish they flowered all year round.
Wheeled out this old Stalwart from about 2006 to wear as a top over my jeans.
The Baby thinks when he puts things over his eyes that he becomes Invisible.
Went to a Christmas Lunch with my Colleagues
Excellent Secret Santa gifts were exchanged. Here's Old Willow:
I was given a beautiful French glass jar and the lid has 3 bees on it. Luff this! Thanks Secret Santa.
Don't forget to enter our Giveaway by leaving a comment on any of the last couple of posts.

ReplyDeleteDear FF,
ReplyDeleteIt's so lovely to read your post. I've had what can only be described as a less than perfect day and it's so comforting to read about your party and to see the tassel necklace.
Here's to tomorrow throwing some shine onto some unpleasantness.
I believe that the weather is going to be rather hot everyone tomorrow so lets all be safe and out of the sun.
Seriously laughing so hard about baby FF thinking he's invisible. Love life's little funnies.
B. x
Love it. My mum is a teacher and her staff room always had the coolest most complicated Secret Santas ever, always going for weeks and each gift more creative than the last.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I put my hands over my eyes and pretend I'm invisible too, mostly when I'm sitting on the loo and the kid is banging on the door shouting "mummy are you finished YET!!!???"
The baby is adorable. Was the perfume your choice of secret santa present?
ReplyDeleteHonestly that tassel neck piece is the Bee's Knees, and I love the way you coordinated your outfit with the lunch pizza! Lovely day indeed! X
ReplyDeleteYour new jar is great. Must have been hard for your SS to find. That old "I can't see you, so I'm invisible" thing is terrible cute. I'd forgotten all about it. Such good times!
ReplyDeletelove the orange colour scheme running though that outfit and the Baby's shorts, with a touch of green with accessorizes.
ReplyDeleteLoving the pic of The (Invisible) Baby. Such a gorgeous age x
ReplyDeleteI think that happens as we get older, our dresses become tops! Nice jar, lucky you.
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny re the baby putting his hands over his eyes! We had a pet rooster that used to think the same thing. If you were chasing him to catch him, he'd run to the nearest patch of ivy or a bush and stick his head in it. We'd then walk up behind him and pick him up. He was always surprised we knew where he was. xx
ReplyDeleteFinding good secret Santa gifts can be Challenging, to say the least! Your SS has done Very Well. I'm hoping I can do as well when I hit the shops as SS.
ReplyDeleteHad a Big Win on the Style Tread sale earlier this week- Very Happy! Got a pair of striped wedges similar to your pink/navy/white beauties. Love a bargain- came to $21.80 for 2 pairs DELIVERED!
Bettina.
Don't think I could shove my pudgy bits into any of my older clothes! Secret Santa chose well!
ReplyDeleteLove the colour of your jeans in the picture. Took a leaf out of your book and had lunch with my girlfriends today. We made a pact to have mid week champagne more often!
ReplyDeleteSo so cute the little man's way of becoming "invisible"! I love the way children think!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could eat that pizza. I miss it now I am no longer a Bris resident. Jx
ReplyDeleteBaby FF is super cute! Loving the jeans & dress/top combo. I think you just multiplied your wardrobe FF!!! Gotta get me an RPE tassel necklace. It is fab.
ReplyDeleteLuff the tassel necklace - it's beautiful
ReplyDeleteLove that necklace to bits, can't wait till tomorrow when Neon collection is launched!
ReplyDeleteMust say I am so appreciative of your boobies post. Helped one of my dearest friends through a mastectomy last friday, only to have another dear friend breast biopsied on tuesday of this week :( it has been a terrible time - I am emotionally wrecked and it is not even happening to me..... I flicked links on to both your post and RPE post to show that there is bling at the end of their journey.
Love the jar, my Mum has bee glasses she bought home from France - brings a holiday mood just taking a sip out of them.

So glad we could help in some small way - much love and strength to your friends. L xx
DeleteFF,
ReplyDeleteLove a thoughtful gift. Watching you run around with summer outfits - over here there's snow on the ground and it's positively freezing out! Hats and gloves are in order.
Luff your stalwart! The necklace matches yet again.
ReplyDeleteOh it is SO lovely to see the sun! It's positively freezing here today and whilst it's been clear and crisp it's COLD!
ReplyDeleteLovely to see you having a festive pizza for your Christmas lunch.
Loving your secret Santa gift and the orange necklace.
PPx
Babies and toddlers are so cute when they cover their eyes and think that no one can see them. I luff playing peek a boo with our 2 and a half year old grand daughter!
ReplyDeleteYour green necklace is wonderful on you.
Love that jar too....it looks very French.
Dear Ms FF, I love lilies too - they often have the most intoxicating scent. It looks so lovely and summery in Brissie - orange seems such a summery colour. I have heard that a very famous grandma featured on another blog loves loves loves your posts when they feature Little FF - the photo of him being invisible will be a big hit with her!!! I am so glad you will always have a record of these lovely and funny moments as before you know it, they will be big!!! It is cold and rainy where I am - but am off to champers and dinner with best friend- I know, am channeling you! love Lundaxxx
ReplyDeleteI don't need to win anything--just want to tell you that I always enjoy your pics and posts. Keep on posting!!
ReplyDelete(and on the hiding note, I used to see rabbits "hide" from me when I'd be out on early morning walks. Like the rooster cited above, they'd stick their heads into the bushes and leave their fat furry behinds sticking out in plain sight. It was hilarious.)
Love the tassel necklace.
ReplyDeleteI saw your pic and tried to wear a short necklace with a long one today and look absolutely ridiculous, like I was being strangled - you always look so together FF. Trivia : Orange (my favourite colour) is the only colour that is a fruit.
ReplyDeleteI know - even I don't know how FF manages that one. It is a VERY advanced necklace manoeuvre! L xx
DeleteI read always but rarely comment FF. Love your posts. Is baby FF taking a photo of himself too? So cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm having a giveaway too; here's a link should you wish to enter.

Todays the last day!

I was channeling you last night FF as I lay under our Christmas tree and just gazed at it. The other half was most confused about why I was lying on the floor, he does not understand the Christmas tree love.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that huge laugh! I remember each of my boys hiding so completely and effectively the same way.
ReplyDeleteYour Secret Santa had you pegged.
I am loving all the festive colour!
ReplyDeleteSSG xxx
Your lilies are fabulous just like those orange beads

Hi FF...must have the missed the post(s) where it was clear that you worked with Willow. All the pieces of the puzzle are falling into place (I'm blonde and a lawyer - what more can I say). I don't know W or L but I do love their beautiful jewellery...I expect if I worked with either, I would spend my paycheck before it arrived (says she who is waiting on the arrival of a necklace from RPE as we speak). Emma
ReplyDeleteSo funny! Your necklace should be arriving Monday :) L xx
DeleteFF, I saw that the Brisbane City Council library now has The Vogue Archive:
ReplyDeleteA complete searchable archive of American Vogue, from the first issue in 1892 to the current issue, reproduced in high-resolution colour page images. Every page, advertisement, cover and fold-out has been included, with indexing enabling you to find images by garment type, designer and brand names.
Loving the colour of your dress. Your necklaces go together perfectly. Am actioning our Christmas tree tomorrow, youngest son beside himself with happiness at the prospect.

I love that invisible stage. So cute. You influnence on the issue of orange has no bounds it has even made it here to the deepest reaches of rural Victoria.
ReplyDeletedear FF
ReplyDeletejust wondering if you or your readers have read the grace coddington book yet? it looks really interesting.
i have ordered it but it is taking ages from Amazon US. hope it is an interesting read.
Dear ff
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to have an excuse to stalk your blog daily now with your giveaway rather than restricting myself to a browse every 3 days or so. Can never have too much if a good thing. I enjoy this lace number very much.
Love Kathleen xxx
Wow, I am so impressed that you can wheel out a dress from 2006 and it still fits and you still like it and it's still fashionable. Today I am wearing a turquoise silk dress that I bought at Portmans years ago. Always felt it made me look larger that I am. Now that I actually (and regrettably) am larger, it is fine!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn
That is one of my favorite tops of yours - I've spent hours searching the net and haunting various stores for something similar, but nothing comes up as pretty as yours. Looks great with orange beads. The glass jar is a perfect gift for you - what wonderful friends you have. I do believe you'll make 1000 posts any minute - I'll be sad when you slow down to your normal warp-speed! xo
ReplyDeleteLove the "organge" .. it is my colour of accessory choice for our friends secret santa boozy lunch tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLj xx
I think Baby is taking a photograph....just like you!
