Happy new Year People. The sky looked gorgeous on the last day of 2012.
Luff a retro ice sculpture? Me too. So festive.
Wore my new sparkletastic necklace from Jean Brown.
Old School FF Readers will remember I wore this Milly dress on New Years Eve 2009. It was a gift from Mr FF and I still luff it 11/10
This one wore a Hawaiian suit that my friend M brought him back from Hawaii
These bugs were the Business.

Hello Alaskan crab claws
I don't make New Year Resolutions. But I want to hear yours. Tell Me Everything.
And do you reckon you''ll keep them?
xxxx

I just have to tell you, some may say this is crazy, but I was excited to come back to work today so I could catch up on the posts!
ReplyDeleteMy morning FF read with a latte is an office ritual I hope never dies!!
Happy New Year
that is so funny! Read it out loud to the people I am with!
DeleteI recently discovered your blog and enjoyed it so much I read it right from end to beginning. My favourite bit was finding the quote “Do what suits you, not what others expect” which I have stolen to be my own motto for 2013. Happy New Year to you FF.
ReplyDeleteHearfelt I luff this and am always fascinated when people do this!
DeleteI don't remember saying that but it sounds like something I'd say!
I've devoted enormous chunks of my life trying to please people who are difficult. So much easier pleasing myself.
I'm going to start by reducing my food intake after a very enthusiastic festive season!
ReplyDeleteYour holiday by the beach looks divine.
me too- never want to leave
DeleteLove the bling, FF.
ReplyDeleteI resolve to continue to try to get healthier and more organised, and, gasp, to get my last 6 years of taxes done. I'm just a simple PAYE and don't know how the years passed by so quickly? But I won't continue to bury my head in the sand and change channels every time a tax or end of financial year ad comes on the tele.
a worthy goal- think how fab you'll feel when it is done.
DeleteOh wow your dress is so pretty! The necklace is the business as well!! No resolutions here either. I have a lot to work on though!
ReplyDeletethanks I luff it and it only fit me again recently. Luff the necklace too x
DeleteMay 2013 cover itself in glory for you and all of us in the Fuschiasphere. Thanks for a year of fun and good times. Donna
ReplyDeletethankyou for coming along for the ride
DeleteSounds like you had a fantastic night. Food looks superb.
ReplyDeleteI don't make New Year's resolutions either...!
Take care.
enjoy your beach trip x
DeleteAll the very best for 2013, you glorious creature! Those bugs do look fab and the young man's Hawaiian suit is the last word in natty.
ReplyDeleteyou too- I LUFF the outfit on him and luff it that it is the real deal!
DeleteHappy New Year! Love the whole outfit - and the food looks delicious. I don't do resolutions either, I can do without the pressure!
ReplyDeletethanks- is my favourite outfit and always feel great in it.
DeleteIt's no wonder they (experts like those from the Institute) say we eat our healthiest at this time of year. All that fresh seafood!!
ReplyDeleteTo be fitter, stronger, happier and more organised are my modest goals. Should be at least a year long project.
seafood is lite in calories!!! Hooray x
DeleteLuff the necklace! Luff the dress! Luff the Hawaiian outfit- so cute! Seafood looks diving and the sky is so pretty! Happy New Year to you. My NY resolution is to try and achieve last years NY resolutions! x
ReplyDeleteha! catch up v. soon with you and M xxxx
DeleteBeautiful photos. I don't really make resolutions but traditionally I start making lists around this time. I make lists of things I want to do and things I need or want. And I prioritise all of them together so I know where I am heading for the year. One of my goals is to eat more protein. Sometimes I slip into accidental vegetarianism and I become tired, so I need to consciously eat more protein.
ReplyDeleteProtein is key!!!! xxx
DeleteThis post is a veritable feast for our eyes. Particularly love the hat perched on little one.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually make resolutions because I'm nothing if not practical and realize I'll be rubbish at keeping them, but this year is different for me on so many levels and for the first time in probably 25 years I have no children or parents to 'care' for so I'm going to get fit and spend time on little old me. That's my resolution.
xx
good for you- will catch up soon x
DeleteThat first photo looks professional, like it should be on the resort's website. You always make me jealous with your bee ring.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I know it was very special for the last day of 2012!
DeleteSky is always fantastic at the beach! Wish I was there! Bet you are luffing it 11/10. Food looks amazing too. Hope you are having a great time FF, we have to catch up soon! For drinks? Love, M. xxxxx
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! x
DeleteLooking forward to it!
DeleteI might try to take better pictures in 2013. But I think your fabulous new necklace has inspired me to make the resolution to wear more jewelry. I don't usually copy other people, but have been looking for a ring like your heart shaped yellow stone one. Which would be even better if it was a heart shaped golden beryl stone.
ReplyDeleteheart shaped rings are the best!
DeleteThat necklace is awesome. Goals for 2013...continue decluttering and follow the FF cleaning standard of having a visitor friendly home before I go to sleep. Happy new year!!
ReplyDeletevisitor ready homes are key!
DeleteSuch fantastic photos! Best beach holiday ever! The baby looks gorgeous in everything. My favourite part was the NYE dinner! SO MUCH FUN!! Alaskan crab is perfection. Love you! xxxxx
ReplyDeletehow good is the Alaskan crab?
Deletethe NYE dinner was wonderful. Love you too x
One word - WOW! Luffing the ice sculpture for NYE.You look amazing (as usual) and your baby is most definitely the cutest baby on Earth! The safari suit is so gorgeous! It looks like you had a very wonderful (and prawntastic) New Year's Eve. Can't wait to see you again soon.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Jo-Anne xxx
thanks Joanne! x
DeleteLoving everything in this post. Your little family is gorgeous. That outfit is the bomb. The ultimate lbd. No resolutions as such, I am just aiming to move more, do more of the things that make me happy, continue decluttering, and do a course in interior styling as its something I've always been interested in!

ReplyDeleteI'm going to "live smaller" in 2013. I like it because it can be applied to anything!! X
ReplyDeleteLucindasans, you're not alone. The same thing happened to me. I'm super-organised in other ways, but I loathe financial admin with a passion. Collect your paperwork and get yourself to an accountant and they'll sort you out in jiffy. They love simple PAYE returns as it's easy work for them - don't worry, they won't judge you. You can claim their fees in next year's return. If you don't have much in the way of investments, it's possible you'll get money back. I did! It will be such a weight off your mind.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, BB from Melbourne :)
I love that dress on you and your whole NYE looks to have been 11/10.
ReplyDeleteI am bang up for a New Year's Resolution, and have resolved to give up the following things that are bad for me: Drinks in little bottles, drinking except at parties, things that glow in the dark, K Mart, Harper's Bazaar, and biscuits. Am going strong on all of these, but it is only Day 3 after all.
