Greentastic.

See that little Carltonware dish? I luff it beyond measure. Don't know what's going on but I am finding myself obsessed with all shades of the colour Green.
I know. I don't know who I am anymore either. Maybe it's because the rain made the garden so lush.
Whatever. I'm just going to go with it.
If you don't like bromeliads and cordylines, we've had some good times, but we can no longer be friends. Because without them, the FF Garden would be full of empty spots and half eaten plants that failed to thrive.
Jackie had High Hair. Closer to God.
Hooray for avocado. And Fexican food in general.
Remember this evidence of my kid's artistic genius? I never get tired of looking at it.
I luff this fabric. I got it from the Black and Spiro sale. The candle was a gift from Amber and it's from Shanghai Tang and smells fabulous.
I'm having slow roasted pork belly for dinner. The monsoonal rain practically demands it.
Speaking of Amber, the Jean Brown Sale items now have an additional 25% markdown on sale items for a limited time. I know! Run Don't Walk bargain hunters. Better click on this link right now to shop and pop in FURTHER25 at the checkout. Hooray for discounted designed clobber.

  1. Carlton ware is always a delight and thanks, or no thanks, depending on how you view it , is cheap as chips now due to the Internet. xx

  2. Hi FF,

Green is the colour I channel the most, we never tire of each other.

The Toddler's jersey reminds me that St. Paddy's Day is not far away, hooray for another chance to throw a themed morning tea with the girls.

Here's to the w/end, only a day away now (cue, the Annie song in your head)

  3. Love all the green. It's a very restful colour. Unfortunately my garden is lacking that colour at the moment. Need more rain. Please send me some! My favourite top at the moment is my green silk Kate Spade one I've posted a few pics of on the blog. Goes with everything. xx

  4. I think I read that green has more shades than any other colour, so plenty of room for scope. I never wear it, but what's a garden without it? Love Baby FF's shamrock top!

  5. I love green. We had pork belly recently and the butcher left a nipple on! I was devastated!!
    Felt really bad :(

  6. Hi FF

I have an emerald green winter coat and every time I wear it I get compliments from strangers. It has special powers, obviously.

  7. Green is so restorative and you look and Master FF both look fab swathed in it's various hues. Afraid that I'm green with envy over that gorgeous teacup...it doesn't look quite the same shape as the Limoges? Rx

  9. I never thought I liked green, but it is sneaking in. It's fresh and clean.

It's going to be one of my wedding colours-well... white flowers and green foliage.

  10. Oh I've always been a fan of green. I have green-ish eyes so I like to think wearing green makes them look, well, more green. Which can only be a good thing x

  11. I love Shanghai Tang.
I am so looking forward to my trip home in June as I will get to go to all my favourite stores!

And I must say that both you and O wear green well.
I like Toddler C in green too...I think it looks nice with his blond curls.

Where did you get the frame for O's artwork?

  14. Hey FF, I don't mind a mild PDA - holding hands, intimate glances, sneaked little kisses - so I sometimes wonder whether Kate and Wills would like to walk in Westminster or Windsor or Wherever holding hands, as a regular couple like Michelle and Barrack or Jen and Justin would. Your pic shows the incomparable Mary and her Frederick holding hands. There was also a magnificent snap of them heading to the Packer v2 wedding with paws clutched. And I love it. Does being a British royal mean you can't have a physical expression of your love and affection? Maybe if Charles had held Diana's hand a bit more.... ?? Well, who knows. Sometimes my husband holds my hand as we are walking with a basket of wet clothes to the line. Never under-estimate the power of your hand being held. There is a saying, goes like this, it is impossible to be angry with someone when they are holding your hand. Try it. It's true. Love your green xo

    1. Hi Bron,

I'm fervent about the blogs I love so always stop by and read the comments too, I hope you (and FF for that matter) don't mind me dropping by here to tell you that not all British royals avoid physical expression like the pox. There have been some wonderful pics of Wills & Kate, rem the Canadian trip and the Olympics last year, not to mention almost every public engagement they do together he seems to have a protective arm on her back as they walk in (yes I notice these things I am a Duchess of C & Wills devotee).

Isn't your husband lovely to a) help you with the basket of wet clothes and b) hold your hand as he does so.

  16. FF,
Green is my favorite color. I love all things green.

I have heard of pork belly, but I can honestly say I have never seen it at my grocer. Is pork belly just bacon that hasn't been sliced?

I have that Bunny W book-- why hasn't she adopted me yet?

  22. I love all the gorgeous colours in your life - so nice to see given the drab February weather I have here! Everything outside seems to be shades of grey...

I am wearing a green cashmere cardigan today though, so clearly on the same wavelength if not temperature!

Those fabrics are stunning too, and your little boy gets more adorable by the day! Love the shot of him with the hockey stick, up to mischief!

Just noticed you've gone over 5 million pageviews - congratulations!

  29. I just LOVE Shanghai Tang! My poor beloved Shanghai Tang handbag is starting to die, I will miss it so much. And all that green is very soothing, it is terribly dry and grey here.

  31. Green, in the form of a cardigan, was the only colour I used to break up my uniform of black and white...pre FF.
And emeralds! Well, I don't own any but if I could I would.

  32. Love me a bit of green and happy to say we can stay friends as bromeliads and cordylines are up there for me. Have a great weekend. I got gel nails this morning will I really be chipless for three weeks? Or will I be over this colour before I chip?

  33. I know you've probably mentioned this a million times, but where did you get your necklace with the fluro features (orange, green)? It's in the above post. Thanks so much! xx
