Inspired by Willow, I've been trying to remedy months of neglect and sort out the Garden. We've stopped talking about work and accessories and speak endlessly of mulch, soil and plants.
I've pruned, removed ridiculous amounts of dead plants, mulched with sugar cane mulch, planted seeds, shoved in cuttings in bare spots, removed hundreds of cobwebs, pulled weeds and prayed for rain. 'Spose I'll have to go in hard with the liquid fertiliser next.
I've tied some bromeliads to tree branches. Fingers and toes they live. Has anyone else tried this? Saw it on instagram. Under a mass of weeds I found this lone clivia-
Meanwhile last Friday was Wear Bright Pink Lipstick Day to raise money for cancer. I do as I'm told.
Saw Blue Jasmine. Cate Blanchett is fantastic in it and wears the best clothes, but People, be warned, it's no light hearted comedy. I found it a bit depressing. (Synopsis-I've lost all my money. My husband let me down. I've moved in with my sister. My grip on reality is fading) 4 stars. And I think Old Cate deserves an Oscar for her efforts.
Look, it's a hippeastrum about to burst into flower! These bulbs came from my Granparent's garden maybe 8 years ago. If a filthy varmint eats it I'll cry.
