Stuff.

 Hello white iceberg rose.
Are you bored already by the coverage on Beyonce and Jay Z's baby? Me too.

My views on forchids are well documented. I luff them.
What I call a rock melon, you might call  a cantaloupe. No to be confused with an antelope.

either way when you wrap it in some thinly sliced cured ham, you have yourself a very tasty meal.
Everyone loves these spotty melamine plate products. Get them from the picnic section of Coles.
I've been wearing a lot of Koala Berry of late. Fast to chip but excellent colour.
Today I actioned a play date for the baby with my friend's little boy R (who looked cute in red). The baby opted for neutrals.
This was me is camouflage Moschino.
I always buy my Christmas theming products after Christmas, because they are cheaper. This tree whatsie was $32 down from $80.
Say what you will about me, I'm a Joiner. Look:
Do you make a prawn and tomato soup? Me too.

How's the decluttering going?

  1. I am decluttering for most of the Eastern Seaboard.

There is hardly anything left. It is spartan at SSG Manor but serene.

  2. I'm sick of Beyonce/Jay Z baby thing too and what a name! Poor kid.

Anyhow, loving seeing summer down there and your cantaloupe looks yummy. Can't wait to try that.

I'm seriously coveting your camo frock! So pretty.

    Happy New Year!

  3. Whoo hoo the rock melon is the cantaloupe!
    That's wonderful news!

I saw some amazing orchid plants at the market and they were so inexpensive...less than a bouquet and they last so much longer.
    You've got to love that!

  4. You have the Valentino book! I wanted that and the Christian Louboutin book for Christmas, but Santa had other plans. Garden is looking good.

  5. No way those plates came from Coles! They are so happy and cheerful. Admiring your ability to interchange from Chanel to Coles in your blog. Something for everyone.xx

  6. I too grabbed those spotted plates and cups from Coles a couple of months back. At $5 a pop it was too hard to resist! My girls love them and they are gorgeous. Coles also have lovely 'XO' coffee cups for $2 each! And Target now do chevron cushions for $20! Definitely Run Don't Walk! ;)

  8. come on, play fair. you do more than enough coverage about your baby boy so let the celebs' have their 5 seconds with their offspring.

  9. I'm wearing Koala Berry right this minute. Love it too.
Those spotted plates are great - I bought a bowl for my grandson, but love it so much I'll go back for a whole set!
Seriously love your yellow vase, specially on the Valentino book with the forchids.

  10. Hi Anon,

As far as I am aware, the mainstream media did not cover the birth of my baby.

Best wishes and thanks for taking the time to comment, xxx

  12. Hahahaha, media coverage of your baby, good one, too funny! I love that one fella at the playdate has an IPhone to play with and your little mate has the table number!

Decluttering going slow here, Itty Bitty was really into it after having some angel therapy last night and it coming up that his room was a problem, but he then got sidetracked and gave up in his room after about 5 minutes, Tomorrow!!!! It won't take much but he has to decide on some things. I am deadset against just doing it and taking away his things(any bit of stuff could be precious to a nine year old!)

  13. I am getting sick and tired of it! Although, I did read an article about the name behind their baby, apparently backwards it means 'Lucifer's Daughter.' Shudder. The IV in Ivy is significant as it represents the number 4 which is important to them both. Gosh I have been totally sucked in, haven't I? xxx

  16. De-cluttered my big pantry today. Have been threatening to action this since last week. Why do I always end up with surplus plastic storage containers? Anyway, out they go to sallies. I was so proud of myself I even took a photo. I wonder how long it will stay tidy? Bedroom is next.
May I ask where you purchased those realistic looking forchids FF?

  18. Hi FF, Greetings from South Florida where we are surrounded by boxes until the new kitchen cabinets are installed. It's a great opportunity to declutter before putting everything back! Love the forchids, enjoy the day!

  19. I seem to have missed most of the Beyonce baby stuff. What's it called? I'll need to google!

I've never made prawn and tomato soup - recipe please?!

On the other hand, do enjoy melon and parma ham (or any cured ham).

I really SHOULD declutter. Might do some 'before' and 'after' pix!

  20. Hi FF, thanks for the scoop on the crockery & mushroom recipe. I had not seen any media coverage of The FF Baby either but perhaps Anon knows something we don't?

P.S. There are some very nice cushions to be had at Kmart right now for $4 and $5.

  21. I'd need to buy more before I declutter, working part time for years means never enough money to clutter in the first place!
I just love popping in here, it's such rainbow coloured world.

  22. Hi FF

I really enjoy your blog. I even read all the comments. You have such a lovely bunch of 'commenters'.

That's why I am puzzled that you bother to respond to all the annoying anons (the ones you publish anyway), but not all the lovely peeps.

Don't let the anons get your goat.

  23. I'm not too keen on forchids but I do like rorchids.
I may have shown you this before but I know how you do like a flower.

  25. Hi FF, I would much rather see babyFF than Baby BJZ any day. So much cooler today - yay! My decluttering is so overwhelming. Just emptied a small wardrobe and putting in new Silverish deterrent! Off to Salvos today and then for shopping therapy/lunch in Paddington with neighbour. Love your rose!

  30. I love Panko. I use it all the time.

Decluttering is going very badly. I think I need a serious talking to.

I have eaten antelope. Really. In Africa it's like eating lamb or mild venison. Common, quite delicious and very lean.
